What Net Zero Means to Us
Net zero is not a declaration made in a single moment — it is a path that requires continuous progress. Giant Group's net zero planning follows Taiwan's 2050 Net Zero Transition roadmap, starting with mapping pathways and understanding the scope, cost, and feasibility of each step. We believe measurable action matters more than symbolic commitment.
Since 2024, Giant Group has established a comprehensive traceability and certification system for sustainable materials. We conduct systematic annual reviews to better understand and manage our use of these materials, tracing PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastics back to raw material suppliers and metals to their respective smelters. In parallel, we work closely with suppliers to obtain verification certifications for recycled content, including ISO 14021 for recycled content in products, EN 15343 for recycled plastics, and the Recycled Content Certification Standard issued by SCS Global Services. Through third-party verification, Giant Group ensures the reliability and traceability of sustainable materials across its supply chain.
