Giant Group, Fu Jen Catholic University, and the Hungarian Trade Office officially signed the "Fu Jen Catholic University and Giant Group Hungary Scholarship Cooperation Agreement" today (December 11), establishing the "Zsoldos Imre Scholarship."

 

The signing ceremony was held at Fu Jen Catholic University and was attended by Fu Jen Catholic University President Dr. Yi-Chen Lan, Giant Group Spokesperson Mr. Ken Li, and Representative of the Hungarian Trade Office, Mr. Gergely Kádár. This tripartite collaboration aims to strengthen educational cooperation and cultural exchange between the two countries.

 

The scholarship is designed to foster academic collaboration between Fu Jen Catholic University and its Hungarian partner institutions, encouraging outstanding Hungarian students to participate in short-term exchange programs at Fu Jen Catholic University. Through this program, recipients will not only enhance their academic and professional skills but also apply their knowledge and practical experience upon returning to Hungary, further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

 

Under the agreement, Giant Group will sponsor three scholarship recipients annually for three years. Each recipient will receive NT$200,000 per year, bringing the total funding amount to NT$1.8 million.

 

Giant Group hopes that this partnership will merge corporate social responsibility with educational aspirations, promoting academic development while creating international learning opportunities for Hungarian youth.
