Corporate Knights, a Canadian media and research organization, recently released the “2024 Global 100” The World’s Most Sustainable Companies Ranking. This year, Giant Group was included in the list for the second time and awarded the 21st most sustainable company out of 6,733 candidate corporations in the world. Ranked first among global bicycle-related companies and selected for this award for two consecutive years. Giant Group has been consistently recognized across various assessment criteria. (The list of 2024 Global 100.)

Corporate Knights has conducted strict sustainability assessments for the listed companies with a global revenue exceeding US$1 billion for 20 consecutive years. There are 25 key performance indicators for the “2024 Global 100,” including resource management, employee management, financial management, sustainable revenue, sustainable investment, sustainable supply chain, and more. The results of the 2024 Global 100 were announced during the annual World Economic Forum in Switzerland. Previously, Taiwanese companies were on the list including TSMC and Taiwan High-Speed Rail. This year, two local companies were selected, Giant Group and Taiwan High-Speed Rail (ranked 4th in the world in 2024).

Since 2022, Giant Group has set “Cycling for a Better Future” as its ESG strategy, which includes three aspects: Innovating a Clean Future, Transforming for Circularity, and Mobilizing for DEI. This framework promotes sustainable corporate management and integrates global trends, incorporating ESG consciousness into all businesses to implement sustainable transformation.
