Congratulations to Bonnie Tu, Chairperson of Giant Group, for being named to 「Champions of Change: 24 Women Who Are Transforming the Sports World」 by Adweek.

Bonnie Tu is known for her passion for cycling—an activity she engages in three times a week. Tu is a trailblazing figure who, in her early 70s, has helped steer Giant Group into becoming the global leader in the cycling industry. Serving as the company's chairperson, Tu led Giant Group to three conservative years of record high sales during the COVID-19 pandemic—making a total of US$600 million (20.62 billion in New Taiwan dollars) in the first quarter of 2021. Despite inventory challenges, Giant Group’s revenue continued to thrive in 2022. Making a significant growth of 12.5%, according to Bicycle Retailer. This growth was attributed to the demand for high end bikes and e-bikes, which remain robust, the company said. Beyond her role at Giant Group, Tu founded Liv Cycling, an award-winning women’s cycling brand, dedicated to female cyclist products and apparel.
